MAJ Hernandez elaborated upon the meaning of terms in the dictionary: such as pride, accountability, self-discipline, and others. His talk was strongly focused on life choices high school students are faced with.

66th ANNUAL AWARD
OF BUSC JUNIOR R.O.T.C. TROPHY
AT MONROE HIGH SCHOOL

The British United Services Club is proud to be the sponsor of the annual drill competition for Los Angeles area high schools' Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (JROTC). For 66 years a trophy has been awarded to the winning drill team at an awards ceremony attended by Club members and diplomatic members from Commonwealth and Allied countries. The competition is supported by the Los Angeles City Board of Education, the United States Armed Forces and officials of State, County and local governments.
In past years, three Presidents of the United States have congratulated the winning units and have commended the Club for its interest in youth.

66th ALL CITY JROTC DRILL COMPETITION AT WOODROW WILSON HIGH SCHOOL 19 DECEMBER, 2009

On Saturday, December 19th, 2009, the Jr. ROTC All-City Drill Competition Parade to select the winning high school was held at Woodrow Wilson High School, 4500 Multnomah St., Los Angles, CA.

Junior ROTC Night will be held on Friday evening, March 19th, 2010. This is a regular BUSC meeting at the Altadena Town and Country Club honoring the winning Junior ROTC High School and its members. Dinner guests are the cadet commanders of the winning school and their instructors, and cadet commanders and instructors from the second and third place schools. The 66th annual award of the BUSC Junior R.O.T.C. Trophy will be at Monroe High School at 11:00 AM on Thursday, 11 March 2010.
